Retail Group has been recognized by Retail Business Review Magazine as the exclusive recipient of “Top Retail Merchandising Service in Latin America 2025,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry. This profile has been developed by the Retail Business Review research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with Milagros Cabrera, CEO.
Milagros Cabrera, CEOReliability, trust, and market awareness have long been the cornerstones of Retail Group’s reputation. These qualities keep global names such as Nestlé, Colgate-Palmolive, and Procter & Gamble, along with regional leaders across the Caribbean, coming back year after year.
For those companies, these values are not buzzwords. They mean knowing that shelves will be stocked properly, that strategies are backed by a real understanding of the market, and that every dollar invested in merchandising delivers measurable results.
At the heart of this philosophy is CEO Milagros Cabrera, who has spent nearly three decades refining what excellence in retail merchandising means. “With almost three decades of retail and in store merchandising under our belt, we've built a record of delivering measurable results with determination, adaptability, and constant innovation,” she explains.
One of Retail Group’s strengths is its ability to adapt across very different markets. In P.R., where compliance and scalability dominate, the company has developed processes rooted in accuracy and governance. In R.D., where market dynamics can shift overnight, it has learned to be flexible and quick to respond. This balance of precision and adaptability is part of what sets Retail Group apart.
Technology has played a decisive role in sharpening that edge. The company’s digital platform, dRetailsense, integrates in-store activity with online performance, ensuring brand consistency across channels. From supermarket aisles in P.R. to digital storefronts, clients can see in real time how their products are positioned and performing. At the same time, FLEX TRG APP connects stores with qualified professionals for tasks ranging from replenishment to display building, bringing speed and efficiency to what was once a logistical headache.
That commitment has been tested under extraordinary conditions. When Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico in 2017, Retail Group established an alternate operations center in just 48 hours, keeping client products on shelves even as infrastructure collapsed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, its teams were among the few still operating in the field, securing permits to replenish essential goods and sustaining service through one of the most volatile moments in modern retail. In both crises, the company’s resilience spoke louder than any marketing message ever could.
Recognition has followed naturally. Retail Group has been named among the Top 100 Locally Owned Companies in Puerto Rico, honored by MIDA as Supplier of the Year, and celebrated for leadership by Caribbean Business Magazine. Awards, however, tell only part of the story. What matters more is the trust the company has earned from its partners and the loyalty that trust inspires.
As the retail industry continues to evolve, Retail Group is not waiting to catch up. It is already there, weaving these commitments into daily operations and preparing clients for what comes next. In an era when consumer choices shift in an instant, the company stands as both anchor and compass: steady enough to deliver, nimble enough to adapt, and always committed to making sure every shelf tells the right story.
